Last weekend, we spent in Branson with Wade's sister family. On Friday, Wade and I took the kids to Lambert's Home of the Throwed Rolls! Yummy. Everyone ate like champs, and the kids loved catching their dinner. And on Saturday, we spent all day at Silver Dollar City. It was a beautiful winter day, and who knew, but 35 degrees can be quite comfortable if you are bundled up. I didn't hear any of the kids complain about being cold all day. The kids rides were up and running for most of the day. The higher thrill rides started running, and ran just long enough to trick us into standing in line, before being shut down again. We saw two shows. Our first, Frosty the snowmen, was really cute. The songs were all well known to the kids and they even let the kiddos watch the show from the stage! The second, The Living Nativity was more traditional church music. It was an indoor theater and the soft music and warm temperatures knocked Sofie right out. We stayed at the park through the lighting of the Christmas tree, and then headed home. Shockingly, the line to get into Silver Dollar City for the Christmas parade was backed up on to the interstate. (For those not familiar with Branson, it's a long way.) Maybe we will take in the holiday parade next year? Unfortunately, the temps were dropping with the sun and we were tired of being cold and ready to start our drive home.

OK Im a little jealous, we usually do this every year and didnt get to go this year. But we are going again next year with the twins.
