Doesn't he look cute? My Mom thinks he looks like Alfalfa...

On the bottom photo, Noah is the little boy in the green shirt directly in front of the little boy wearing the red shirt. And that's Wade in the background. Green shirt, tan pants...
So yesterday about 10:30am, as I am slaving away at work. (Ok, in reality I was probably on facebook...) My cell phone rings and it's the crazies school. That wasn't an immediate red flag because they're always calling. So as I answered, I was surprised when it wasn't the secretary calling to set up more IEP meeting's for Noah and Sofia. But, as soon as the words school nurse left her mouth, I knew she was calling about Rylan. He inherited my innate sense of grace and balance. And his boo boo's seem near constant. Apparently he and another little boy ran into each other and Rylan's face hit the pavement. She assured me, and you can imagine how reassuring these words were, that he was alert and acting normal and didn't seem to need to go to the emergency room. I had my Mom take a photo of his face so Wade and I could see. It's the photo posted above. By bedtime last night, he appeared to be getting a black eye and a large dark blue bruise over the whole left side of his face. When I got home, and checked his backpack I had a "To the parent who's child had a head injury" note in his book back... His name was written in the blank where you write the student's name, and the nurse had initialed the bottom. Seriously? It happens so often there's a form letter.
