All about the Princess...

Maggie & Sofia

Sofie, Sofie and more Sofie. That has been our last month in review. Actually it wasn't really biased in any direction at all, but this post is "All about the Princess"... Sofie not so bravely attended her first big girl party for a little boy from her class. When we arrived at the party, there were some 30 boys in attendance, and not one little girl. The tears started. She was clinging to my leg. I felt terrible. The mother of the little boy even told us we didn't have to stay if we didn't want to. Sofie heard and tried to bolt out the door. I have never seen her socially scared. And truthfully she seemed on the border of terrified. Poor Fifi. I told the Mom that we would wait it out, and hopefully she would become more comfortable. Eventually Maggie and Grace showed up, the tears stopped and she enjoyed her first big girl party. Success!
