The holidays are coming...

What have we been up to???
Well, Noah and Rylan's fall soccer league finished up at the end of October. Both boys came along way this summer and really enjoyed the season. Noah LOVES soccer and played every game at full Noah speed. His activity level makes him a perfect soccer player. Rylan had a great season too. Rylan finally learned how to play without completely running over the other children. A great relief for Mom and Dad who no longer have to hide on the sidelines... Here are some photos of the boys in action, on their last weekend of play.
Rylan Red Jersey, Striped Socks
Noah Maroon Jersey, Grey Turtleneck/Sleeves
Yes, this is Noah with the fancy foot work...

After both boys final games, the teams threw an end of the season party. Both parties were a hit. Here are a few shots from Noah's party. Sorry Ry, forgot the camera for yours...
As for Sofia, she has returned to dance. Year three, can you believe it? She has a new teacher this year. Her teaching style is quite a bit different from Miss Jenny, but she is very friendly and the girls all love her.
A few weekends back, we made time to join the Humes family at Six Flags. We love the rides. We being mainly Mommy, but hopefully the kids will hurry up and love them as much as I do. As for right now, we take in the tamer roller coasters, all the kids rides, as well as your average carnival rides. Thankfully, Six Flags let's Sarah and I switch places and wait with the smaller kids while the other Mommy rides. This way, we can still take in the best of the rides, and not have to wait in the huge lines twice. I know what your thinking, "Where are the Daddy's?" Both Eric and Wade had to take kids to parties, so they missed part of our beautiful day at Six Flags.
Halloween was a big success this year. The weather was perfect. And the kids had a great time. The candy stash was our biggest to date. And contained A LOT of chocolate. Yeah!!! And not a lot of tootsie rolls. Double Yeah!! The candy lasted for a couple of weeks, until Mommy got tired of prying suckers out of Syd's mouth. The dog does not need candy!
The kids love to sleep in our room. Obviously, they can't all sleep in bed with Mommy and Daddy so they "camp out" on our floor. Wade likes to say we don't need a four bedroom house, when we would all be happy sleeping together in a studio apartment. Ha! Ha! But for right now, they are still small and like to be with us. Soon enough, we won't be able to get them out of their own rooms. And that's a sad thought. So I am happy sharing ours with them...
Rylan, Sydney and Noah passed out on the floor!
Sydney and Sofie
Sarah and I are getting ready to drag seven kids on an airplane to Florida. (Sorry, if you are on the same flight. It's probably to late to change your tickets.) Thankfully, we are going to be loaded down with lots of homework and other fun activities to keep us busy on the long flights.
The kids are very excited to see Harry Potter World at Universal. And Sofia can't wait to pet the dolphins at Sea World... So check back after Thanksgiving for a new post...
