Overall, I couldn't tell you if the Crazies were more excited for the conference, or the hotel pool. And unfortunately the digital memories are limited. I remembered the camera, but forgot the battery and charger. After unsuccessfully trying to buy replacements, we resorted to cell phone photos. Aagh! So forgive this post... It may not be one of the best!
Upon arriving at the hotel, Rylan quickly built this cute little snowman on the sidewalk.

For dinner on Thursday night, we decided to try a restaurant from one of our favorite shows. Dinners, Drive In's and Dives. The restaurant, Dixie Quicks. It was very eclectic and the Crazies were thrilled when they went to the restroom and discovered the walls were chalkboards and were designed for doodling. Even the table tops were covered in paper for our miniature Rembrandt's. And the food, Amazing. If you are feeling particularly interested, here's their website...

Wade worked most of the weekend, so my Mom, the Crazies and I had to entertain ourselves. We did a little shopping at Nebraska Furniture Mart. Visited Target. Tossed a few hours in here and there at the pool to keep the kiddos energy at a manageable level. Navigated the lunacy of the Omaha streets and survived the weekend.
Even our Saturday at Pheasant Fest seemed to be over in an instant...
Rylan modeled the latest in conference wear...
Sofie and Noah took in a little fishing...
I even have a few videos of the kids shooting real bow and arrows. I however, can't figure out how to load them. So check back for those soon!
